Making the most of your visit to Spain

Here you will find little tips about how to make the most of your visit to Costalita, directly from the owner of the property

Getting from the airport to Costalita cost effectively!

Taking a taxi from the airport to Costalita may cost about 110€ depending on the time of day.

So you dont want to hire a car, thats fine, you can avoid taking a taxi by using the airport bus which is a lovely air conditioned direct bus from Malaga Airport to Marbella bus station, it costs about 5€ per person. Once at Marbella bus station a taxi to Costalita is about 22€. Or you can get a public bus to Cancelada and walk over the footbridge to Costalita, the public bus is about 1.25€ per person.

The bus stop for Marbella is just outside the petrol station located on the outskirts of Costalita, its about 500 meters from the property. Buses are regular but not a super service.

The bus stop for Estepona is located on the far side of the road. Take the foot bridge to Cancelada village, the stop is directly under the bridge.

Local Market days

Marbella Monday morning (local market with food, clothing etc)

Estepona Weds morning (local market with food, clothing etc)

Estepona Port Sunday morning (great for handbags and gifts!)

Cancelada Market Friday Morning near the bus stop, its a small but cute market with lovely fresh fruit and veg!

Best  Shopping!

La Canada open from 10am till 10pm, with free parking. Located just outside Marbella.

Best Fish restaurant; Bar Simonito in Estepona. Full of life and a real typical local restaurant ideal to catch a glimpse of how the Spanish love to eat good sea food. Very inexpensive!
